The growing complexity of the parts demanded by the design, by the evolution and sophistication of the equipments, by greater and daring proposals of comfort and by the growing demands of the security rules obliges the Mould and Die Makers to gather their efforts in order to find ways to provide new and added value solutions to their customers.

The participants had the chance to share ideas with Mr. Daniel Pyzak from Dassault Systemes (France) who give a presentation on “Opportunities for Innovative Toolmaking at Aerospace Supply Chain” and Mr. V. Kovaichelvan from TVS Motors (India) presenting “OEM’s in India growing market vis-à-vis the Tooling Industry”.

Previously to these invited speakers Mr. Eduardo Beira, ISTMA World General Manager, made an overview about the present situation of Mould and Die Industry worldwide and the new trends and opportunities to this sector.

With the organisation of this Seminar, ISTMA Europe had as main goal to bring together Mould and Die makers, suppliers and customers to share and discuss experiences, ideas and trends giving ground to proposals for a sustainable development of the sector.
